I will be not surprised that thanks to the Great Recession, there will be fare and toll increases every odd year for the not too distant future: that is the bureaucratic MTA, not going their way.

Why is it that when the whole Brooklyn coast line from Red Hook, Greenpoint, to Bay Ridge are being developed and beautified Gravesend remains a toxic dumping ground? To me, it's clear that the future of Brooklyn will rely on the improvements and development of it's coastline but looks like Gravesend will be left out of that future.

There was no description of the perps. That tells me everything I need to know about them.

You forgot to mention the film 'One deadly road' by Bill and Frank Adonis which had most of their scenes in the Bensonhurst, Bath Beach area
